Bottle to Impress

CHATEAU D’AQUERIA is a dry but fruity rose wine from Tavel, France. This town is in southern France, where the Rhone River meets the Mediterranean Sea. It is made from Grenache, Syrah and other grapes from the region. This wine’s very swift, almost inexistent sweetness and delicate fruitiness makes it perfect for salads and light seafood plates. Your guests will love this crisp, easy drinking wine. Fun Fact: Each grape starts fermentation separately, with maceration as a red wine, but the grape skins are taken out early by pressing and then fermentation continues in stainless steel vats. Blending happens at the end of the process. You can find it at El Horreo de V Suarez.  92 points Wine Enthusiast.
